In the wake of three serious falls on the Gold Coast and one in the Sydney CBD, regulator Workplace Health and Safety Queensland and industry bodies are hosting a forum dealing with:

  • Maintenance work on low and high-rise buildings using rope positioning, fall arrest and travel restraint systems.
  • Anchor points testing, design layout and management of control of fixtures, fittings and plan
  • Maintenance work on high rise buildings involving fall arrest and travel restraint systems of work.
  • How to comply with the Act

Principal inspectors and advisors from the Workplace Health and Safety Queensland, the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association, Working at Height Association and Australian Rope Access Association will speak at the forum to be held on the Gold Coast at Southport.
